FEM-Design RC Drawing Module
In Brief
FEM-Design RC Drawing can be used as "stand-alone" module or built-in all modules. Program has its own CAD engine tools to help the user to draw the geometry of the model or use the FEM-Design objects such as plate, wall, beam and column.
Create work windows (2D view of selected part of structure) from the view-boxes or by defining sections and details, and place them on the drawing area. You can assign different scales for each work window.
Insert bar or welded-mesh reinforcement in the previously defined work windows. There are special commands to define typical reinforcement, e.g. stirrups in beams, or surface reinforcement in slabs. It is enough to define reinforcement in one view, because the reinforcement objects automatically appear in the other views. They are real 3D objects. So, for example, if you draw reinforcement bars in the plane view, they will be automatically displayed in the sections, details etc. Arbitrary shape of reinforcement bars can be created by the Bar shape designer.
You can of course make full documentations with steel lists and manufacturing drawings. Any changes in the drawing will update the documentation. Define your own company style of document starting from title label till steel list table.
Connection with design modules
During reinforcement bar insertion you can take display the results such "required reinforcement" in background of course if you ran the design calculations before. In the Plate module, it's possible to re-calculate the structure and see the new updated results (e.g. cracked-section analysis) according to the reinforcement defined in the drawing. in the Plate or other design modules before.
